AI platform
ENABLE is an AI platform for business that brings together dashboards, AI on your own data warehouse, self-built dashboards and internal apps. Everything works under one login, with one access model and one activity log. Newer components such as the Dashboard Builder and the AI App Builder are in pilot; apps built with AI are always reviewed before they go live.
An AI platform for business is a central environment in which employees use AI on company data, within clear rules on access, control and management. The alternative, separate AI tools per department, often leads to fragmented data, unclear permissions and no overview of who is doing what.
ENABLE is that central place, built around your data warehouse. You open Power BI dashboards there, ask questions in plain language through the SQL Explorer, build your own dashboards with "Ask AI" (pilot) and use internal apps. Everything falls under one login, one access model with profiles and one activity log.
ENABLE is not a general-purpose chatbot, nor a development environment for arbitrary AI applications. The platform focuses on one thing: making AI and apps work in a controlled way on your organisation's figures.
Key points
Power BI reports embedded in your own portal, with favourites, recently viewed, full screen and a mobile view.
In the SQL Explorer, the AI turns a plain-language question into SQL on your own PostgreSQL warehouse, read-only and with the query visible.
Build your own dashboards with eight chart types. "Ask AI" suggests charts based on metadata; data sources are first approved by the platform admins.
Describe in a chat which app you need. The builder creates a scoped app with tables, charts or scenario calculators, which is reviewed before going live.
Apps with their own repository and project, sign-in through the portal and access only to approved, versioned data endpoints. Every release is reviewed.
Publish a query as a REST endpoint with an API key, OpenAPI specification and rate limits, so other systems use the same figures.
Access profiles bundle dashboards and apps. Row-level security restricts Power BI data per user. With "view as user" you check what someone sees.
Customer admins see activity in one log, and Data Analytics monitors the health and usage of the dashboards daily.
An AI platform for business is more than access to a model. It needs to ensure that everyone works with the same figures, that permissions live in one place, and that you can trace what AI suggested and who applied it. This is how ENABLE divides those tasks across its components:
| Need | How ENABLE handles it | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Viewing figures | Power BI dashboards in the portal | Live |
| Asking questions of data | SQL Explorer with AI, read-only | Live |
| Building your own dashboards | Dashboard Builder with "Ask AI" | Pilot |
| Building an internal app | AI App Builder, reviewed before going live | Pilot |
| Having a custom app built | Managed apps with sign-in through the portal | Pilot |
| Providing data to other systems | Data API with API key and OpenAPI | Live |
With the AI App Builder (pilot), a customer admin builds an internal app through chat and canvas: a searchable table, a set of charts or a calculator for scenarios such as "what if the purchase price rises by 5 per cent?". You try out the suggestion straight away and refine it with new instructions.
The builder is deliberately scoped. It installs no packages, writes no data and builds no arbitrary workflows. An app only uses published, read-only data endpoints of your own organisation. The AI receives column names and types and your description, no database records or passwords. Submitting creates a version for review; the app only goes live after approval by the platform admins.
Not every app needs to be built with AI. ENABLE's app hub offers three routes side by side, plus the built-in Targets app (monthly KPI targets).
| Route | When | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Add an existing app (link or iframe) | You already have the tool | Visible through access profiles |
| AI App Builder (pilot) | A scoped app without a developer | Review by platform admins before going live |
| Custom app (pilot) | You need more than a scoped app | Approved data endpoints, every release reviewed |
Separate AI tools are quick to get started with, but each tool has its own accounts, its own permissions and its own copy of the data. A central AI platform, also called an enterprise AI platform, turns that around: one place with one access model, where AI and apps use the same, controlled data.
That doesn't mean ENABLE does everything. For searching documents, writing emails or general chat, you use other AI software for business. ENABLE focuses on data: dashboards, questions to your warehouse and apps that run on that data.
In ENABLE
Data Analytics starts with a sketch or prototype of the dashboards and apps, so it is clear up front what you will be using.
Sources are loaded into your PostgreSQL data warehouse and modelled; Power BI reports are connected.
Your own branding, users, access profiles and, if needed, row-level security. Pilot components are switched on per customer.
Employees work with dashboards, AI and apps under one login. Administrators follow usage and activity in the audit log.
FAQ
An AI platform for business is a central environment in which employees use AI on company data, with one access model and control over what AI does. ENABLE combines dashboards, plain-language questions to your data warehouse, custom dashboards and internal apps under one login.
Yes, with the AI App Builder, which is in pilot. You describe in a chat which app you need and the builder creates a scoped app with tables, charts or scenario calculators. The platform admins review every app before it goes live.
The AI App Builder creates scoped apps from fixed building blocks, without custom code. A custom app has its own repository and project and can do more, but it too only uses approved data endpoints. With both, every version is reviewed before it goes live.
The dashboard portal, access profiles and row-level security, the SQL Explorer with AI, the Data API, the app hub and monitoring are live. The Dashboard Builder, the AI App Builder and custom apps are in pilot and are switched on per customer.
No, not the records themselves. The AI receives column names and types from approved data endpoints and your description of the app. So don't type personal data or passwords into your instructions.
No. ENABLE is focused on AI on your business data: questions to your data warehouse, dashboards and apps. For writing text, searching documents or general chat, other tools are more suitable.
