ENABLE is a white-label portal: each organisation gets its own environment with its own logo, colours, theme and login page. Users open their dashboards and apps in an environment that belongs to your organisation. You can also tailor the invitation emails, the footer and the visible menu items, with invitations in four languages.
Branding of the Acme Groothandel portal.
A white-label portal is an environment your users see as your organisation's own, even though someone else's software runs underneath. In ENABLE every organisation gets a portal like this: with your logo in the menu and on the login page, your colours in buttons and accents, and a light or dark theme.
That is more than styling. People who open their figures in an environment that looks familiar are less likely to click away and less likely to call asking whether a link can be trusted. And if you want to share dashboards with external parties, such as customers, franchisees or suppliers, they see your brand.
The branding is set up by platform admins (Data Analytics), usually while the portal is being configured. You supply your logo, colours and copy; you can then view the result straight away.
Features
Your logo appears in the menu and optionally on the login page. In the browser tab it shows as the icon, with your organisation's name in the title.
Set a primary and secondary colour for buttons, accents and navigation, and choose a light or dark theme for the whole portal.
Your own background image, a title and subtitle in your own words, and a footer, for example with your contact details or a short disclaimer.
Hide menu items your organisation doesn't use, separately for client admins and users. That way everyone only sees what is relevant.
Adjust the subject, heading, body and button text of the invitation emails, per language: Dutch, English, French and German. Use {{name}} and {{company}} to personalise them.
Users choose the portal language themselves: Dutch, English, French or German. Useful for organisations with branches or business partners in Belgium, France or Germany.
Each portal has its own address with a client ID that platform admins can change. After a change, earlier links keep working.
Loose Power BI links in an email all look the same to the recipient, and that is exactly the problem: nobody knows where they are or who the sender is. A portal in your own branding makes it clear that these are your figures, in your environment.
Behind the branding is a separate environment per organisation: its own users, its own access profiles, its own dashboards and its own connection to your data warehouse. So the look is not just a coat of paint; it belongs to a portal that genuinely belongs to your organisation.
The branding carries through everywhere users see the portal:
| Element | What you configure |
|---|---|
| Menu and header | Logo, primary and secondary colour, light or dark theme |
| Login page | Logo on or off, background image, title, subtitle, footer |
| Browser tab | Your logo as the icon, your organisation's name in the title |
| Navigation | Which menu items client admins and users see |
| Subject, heading, body and button of invitations, per language | |
| Apps | Apps from the AI App Builder (pilot) inherit your brand colours |
Many organisations use ENABLE internally, for management and teams. You can also use the portal as a client portal for dashboards: external parties get their own account and only see the dashboards you make available to them through an access profile.
If different customers need to see the same dashboard, each with their own figures, combine this with Power BI row-level security. Each user then gets their own tag, for example, so the dashboard shows only their rows. Anyone without a tag gets no access rather than all the data.
The first encounter with the portal is usually an email. That is why the invitation emails can be adjusted per language: the invitation for new users and the email for existing accounts that are given access to your portal. You write plain text, without HTML, and use {{name}} and {{company}} for the recipient's name and your organisation.
The portal itself is available in Dutch, English, French and German. Users switch language via the menu; the language of the dashboards themselves is set in Power BI.
In ENABLE
You supply your logo, colours, an optional background image and the copy for the login page and footer.
Platform admins apply the branding, theme, visible menu items and invitation emails per language to your portal.
Use "Portal Preview" to view the portal as a client admin or as a user, before the first invitation goes out.
Invite users. They receive the email in your style and sign in to a portal with your logo.

Yes. You can invite external parties and use access profiles to decide which dashboards they see. With Power BI row-level security, each customer sees only their own figures in the same dashboard.
The portal is available in Dutch, English, French and German; users choose their own language. The invitation emails can be adjusted per language.
Not as a standard option. Each portal has its own address under a Data Analytics domain, with a client ID that platform admins can change. Earlier links keep working when it changes.
