Connect Monta. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Monta data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Monta.

What is Monta?

Monta is a Dutch fulfilment provider that stores stock for online shops and picks, packs and ships their orders. Shops follow their orders, stock and returns through a customer portal.

How to use Monta data in ENABLE

Data from Monta is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Your shop, such as Shopify or Shopware, puts fulfilment costs next to order value so you can see margin per order after logistics. Gorgias or Zendesk links customer questions to late or incomplete shipments.

What you do with Monta data

Plain-language questions

  • “What does fulfilment cost us per order, including storage and shipping?”
  • “What share of orders ship complete and on time?”
  • “How long does it take from a delivery arriving until the stock is available?”
  • “How many days pass between a return being registered and being processed?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Monta connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Monta is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Monta data can you use?

Typically orders with fulfilment status, shipments with carrier and tracking, stock per item in the fulfilment centre and inbound deliveries with arrival and processing times. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Monta data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Monta?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
