Connect Crisp. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Crisp data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Crisp.

What is Crisp?

Crisp is a French customer messaging platform with live chat on the website, a shared inbox and a knowledge base. It is mainly used by start-ups and smaller companies that want to help visitors and customers through chat.

How to use Crisp data in ENABLE

Data from Crisp is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Google Analytics 4 puts the number of chats next to traffic per page, so you can see where visitors get stuck. HubSpot or Pipedrive shows which chats lead to a deal.

What you do with Crisp data

Plain-language questions

  • “On which pages do visitors start the most chats?”
  • “How quickly does each operator respond to a new chat?”
  • “At what times do most chats come in, and are we staffed then?”
  • “Which segments ask the most questions per month?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Crisp connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Crisp is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Crisp data can you use?

Typically conversations with state (unresolved, pending, resolved), messages with timestamps and sender, operators (agents) and contact profiles. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Crisp data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Crisp?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
