Connect Deel. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Deel data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Deel.

What is Deel?

Deel is a platform for hiring and paying people in other countries, either as employees through an employer of record or as independent contractors. Organisations with international teams use it to manage contracts, payments and local rules country by country.

How to use Deel data in ENABLE

Data from Deel is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

International people costs from Deel next to employees on the Dutch payroll in Nmbrs give a single view of the whole organisation. With the books in Exact Online or Xero you can reconcile those costs with the general ledger.

Note: Amounts are held in each contract's own currency. Agree which exchange rate and date you convert at, otherwise costs are hard to compare across countries and months.

What you do with Deel data

Plain-language questions

  • “How many people work for us in each country, and how many of them are contractors?”
  • “What does an employee in Germany cost us on average per month, compared with Spain?”
  • “How have total people costs through Deel changed each quarter, converted to euros?”
  • “Which contracts end in the next three months?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

Steps

How to connect Deel

  1. 1Sketch the end resultFirst decide which questions and dashboards you want from Deel data; that tells you which data is needed.
  2. 2Load into your data warehouseOutside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration. We decide which route fits during the intake.
  3. 3ModelTables and definitions that work with your other sources, so everyone sees the same numbers.
  4. 4Use in ENABLEPower BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API, with access profiles and optional row-level security.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Deel connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Deel is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Deel data can you use?

Typically employees and contractors by country, contracts with type, start date and end date, salary payments and contractor invoices and currency per contract. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Deel data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Deel?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
