What is Apollo.io?

Apollo.io is a B2B prospecting platform with its own database of companies and contacts, combined with tools for email sequences and follow-up. Sales teams use it to find target accounts and run outbound campaigns.

How to use Apollo.io data in ENABLE

Data from Apollo.io is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Next to HubSpot or Salesforce, you see whether contacts from Apollo sequences go on to become won deals. Add Calendly and you measure how many replies actually lead to a conversation.

Note: Contact details in Apollo come partly from Apollo's own database rather than from your own relationships. Keep GDPR in mind when you store them, and agree which system is leading for contact details.

Plain-language questions

  • “Which sequence produces the most booked meetings per hundred contacts approached?”
  • “How many new contacts did each SDR add to a sequence this month?”
  • “How many of the companies we approached through Apollo now have an open deal in our CRM?”
  • “Is the number of qualified leads from outbound growing month on month?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Apollo.io connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Apollo.io is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Apollo.io data can you use?

Typically contacts and accounts, sequences and their steps, sent emails with opens, replies and bounces and calls. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Apollo.io data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Apollo.io?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
