What is Insightly?

Insightly is a CRM for small and mid-sized businesses with built-in project management, so a won opportunity can become a project straight away. It is used by organisations where sales and delivery work closely together.

How to use Insightly data in ENABLE

Data from Insightly is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Add Mailchimp and you see which campaigns bring in leads that go all the way to a project. Link projects to invoices from QuickBooks or Xero and you see, per customer, what was sold, delivered and paid.

Does ENABLE have a built-in Insightly connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Insightly is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Insightly data can you use?

Typically contacts and organisations, leads, opportunities and pipelines and projects with milestones. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Insightly data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Insightly?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
