You use CSV files and SFTP data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for CSV files and SFTP.
CSV is a simple text format for tables that almost any system can export; SFTP is a secure way to exchange such files automatically between servers. Together they are a common route for systems without a usable API, such as older packages, point-of-sale systems or partners that deliver a file every day.
How to use CSV files and SFTP data in ENABLE
Data from CSV files and SFTP is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.
CSV files from a fulfilment partner such as Monta, or from carriers like PostNL and DHL, add what happens after dispatch to the order data from Shopify or your ERP. Till sales per store next to purchasing from Exact Globe show how quickly new items sell through.
Note: Watch the delimiter, decimal separator and character encoding: Dutch-language exports often use a semicolon as delimiter and a comma as decimal separator. Also agree what happens when a file is not delivered on a given day.

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from CSV files and SFTP is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.
