Connect Dropbox. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Dropbox data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Dropbox.

What is Dropbox?

Dropbox is a service for storing, syncing and sharing files in the cloud. Many organisations use it to exchange files with suppliers, freelancers and other external parties.

How to use Dropbox data in ENABLE

Data from Dropbox is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Price lists and stock overviews from Dropbox next to purchase orders from Exact Globe or SAP Business One show where you pay more than agreed. Dealer reports next to your own sales from the ERP give insight into what actually reaches end customers.

Plain-language questions

  • “Which suppliers raised their prices in the latest price list, and by what percentage?”
  • “How much of the stock we delivered did our dealers sell within three months?”
  • “How often were items unavailable from the supplier when we needed them?”
  • “Have the lead times suppliers quote become longer over recent months?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Dropbox connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Dropbox is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Dropbox data can you use?

Typically supplier price lists, supplier stock and availability lists, sales reports from dealers or resellers and lead time overviews. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Dropbox data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Dropbox?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
