Connect Google Drive. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Google Drive data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Google Drive.

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive is the file storage of Google Workspace, with Google Docs, Sheets and uploaded files in personal and shared folders. Organisations working on Google Workspace also use it to exchange files with agencies and other third parties.

How to use Google Drive data in ENABLE

Data from Google Drive is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Agency reports and plans from Google Drive only become properly comparable next to data from Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and your CRM, such as HubSpot. That shows whether reported results actually turn up in leads and revenue.

Note: Files in My Drive belong to a single user; files in a shared drive belong to the organisation. A shared drive is therefore the more stable place for source files.

Plain-language questions

  • “What did each euro of media budget return, once we set the agency report against actual revenue?”
  • “Which campaigns in the plan went live but produced no measurable leads?”
  • “How does the marketing budget per quarter compare with what was actually spent?”
  • “Which channel has the highest cost per lead?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Google Drive connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Google Drive is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Google Drive data can you use?

Typically spreadsheets in shared drives, monthly reports from a marketing or media agency, exports from advertising platforms and campaign plans and budgets. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Google Drive data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Google Drive?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
