Connect SAP Business One. Through your own data warehouse.

You use SAP Business One data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for SAP Business One.

What is SAP Business One?

SAP Business One is SAP's ERP package for small and medium-sized businesses. It is mainly used by trading and manufacturing companies for finance, purchasing, inventory, sales and customer relationships.

How to use SAP Business One data in ENABLE

Data from SAP Business One is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Online shop data from Shopware or Magento shows how web orders affect stock in SAP Business One. Shipping data from Sendcloud or DPD completes the chain from order to delivery.

Note: In SAP Business One, each company is a separate company database. With several branches or countries you therefore often have several databases to bring together in the model.

Plain-language questions

  • “Which items were most often out of stock when an order came in last quarter?”
  • “What share of ordered lines do we ship straight away, without a backorder?”
  • “How does the gross margin differ per warehouse or branch?”
  • “How many sales opportunities have we won this year and what was their total value?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in SAP Business One connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from SAP Business One is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which SAP Business One data can you use?

Typically sales orders, deliveries and A/R invoices, purchase orders and A/P invoices, items and stock per warehouse and business partners. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about SAP Business One data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect SAP Business One?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
