Connect Simplicate. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Simplicate data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Simplicate.

What is Simplicate?

Simplicate is Dutch business software for service providers such as agencies, consultancies and IT firms. It links client management, quotes, projects, time tracking, planning and invoicing in one system.

How to use Simplicate data in ENABLE

Data from Simplicate is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Hours and invoices from Simplicate next to payroll costs from Nmbrs or Loket.nl reveal the real margin per project and per employee. With the general ledger from Exact Online or Twinfield, work in progress ties back to your balance sheet.

Plain-language questions

  • “What share of the hours logged last month was billable, by team?”
  • “Which projects are over their hours budget but not yet invoiced?”
  • “How much work in progress is currently unbilled, per client?”
  • “What did an hour of work bring in on average this quarter after write-offs?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Simplicate connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Simplicate is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Simplicate data can you use?

Typically projects with budgets in hours and amounts, time entries per employee, project and service, rates per service or employee and invoices and invoiced hours. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Simplicate data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Simplicate?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
