Connect Harvest. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Harvest data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Harvest.

What is Harvest?

Harvest is a time tracking and invoicing tool used by agencies, consultants and other teams that work by the hour. You log time and expenses against projects and tasks, then invoice them to the client.

How to use Harvest data in ENABLE

Data from Harvest is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Hours from Harvest next to deals from HubSpot or Pipedrive show whether the hours you sold match what was actually spent on a client. With payroll costs from your payroll system you can work through to margin per project.

What you do with Harvest data

Plain-language questions

  • “What percentage of the project budget has been used, and how many weeks does the project still have to run?”
  • “What is our effective hourly rate per client once all logged hours are counted?”
  • “Who has not logged any time yet this week?”
  • “For which tasks do actual hours differ most from the estimate?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Harvest connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Harvest is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Harvest data can you use?

Typically time entries per person, project and task, billable or non-billable flag per entry, project budgets in hours or amounts and hourly rates. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Harvest data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Harvest?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
