Connect Todoist. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Todoist data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Todoist.

What is Todoist?

Todoist is a task app for personal and shared to-do lists, with projects, labels, priorities and recurring due dates. Freelancers and small teams use it to keep day-to-day work organised.

How to use Todoist data in ENABLE

Data from Todoist is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Completed tasks from Todoist next to tracked hours from Toggl Track show where time went and what it produced. With meetings from Calendly you can see how much time is left for planned work.

Plain-language questions

  • “How many tasks did I complete each week over the last three months?”
  • “Which high-priority tasks have been open for more than two weeks?”
  • “How many days pass on average between creating and completing a task, by label?”
  • “Which project's list of open tasks is growing fastest?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Todoist connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Todoist is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Todoist data can you use?

Typically tasks with priority and due date, projects and sections, labels and completed tasks with dates. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Todoist data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Todoist?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
