Connect BigCommerce. Through your own data warehouse.

You use BigCommerce data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for BigCommerce.

What is BigCommerce?

BigCommerce is a hosted e-commerce platform from the United States for B2C and B2B online shops. It targets growing and larger brands that want to sell across several channels from one environment.

How to use BigCommerce data in ENABLE

Data from BigCommerce is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Google Ads and Meta Ads let you set advertising spend against orders per channel. Stripe or PayPal lets you check that orders, payments and refunds reconcile.

Plain-language questions

  • “How many carts are created but never checked out, per week?”
  • “Which sales channel delivers the highest average order value?”
  • “Do B2B customers with their own price list reorder more often than other customers?”
  • “Which products have the highest share of refunds?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in BigCommerce connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from BigCommerce is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which BigCommerce data can you use?

Typically orders with status and channel, order products and shipping addresses, customers and customer groups and products, variants and categories. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about BigCommerce data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect BigCommerce?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
