Connect Chargebee. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Chargebee data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Chargebee.

What is Chargebee?

Chargebee is subscription billing software used by SaaS companies and other businesses with recurring revenue. It manages plans, subscriptions, invoices and the recovery of failed payments, on top of a payment provider.

How to use Chargebee data in ENABLE

Data from Chargebee is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

HubSpot or Salesforce links subscriptions to accounts and acquisition channels, so you can see which source brings in the customers with the best retention. Stripe or Adyen shows the payments behind the invoices.

Plain-language questions

  • “How is our MRR developing month by month, split into new, expansion and churn?”
  • “Which plan has the highest cancellation rate in the first year?”
  • “How much revenue do we retain after twelve months from customers who started last year?”
  • “What are the most common reasons for cancelling?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Chargebee connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Chargebee is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Chargebee data can you use?

Typically subscriptions with plan, status and term, plans, add-ons and prices, customers and invoices and credit notes. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Chargebee data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Chargebee?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
