Connect Etsy. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Etsy data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Etsy.

What is Etsy?

Etsy is an online marketplace for handmade goods, vintage items and craft supplies. Sellers are mostly small makers and designers, often alongside their own shop or markets.

How to use Etsy data in ENABLE

Data from Etsy is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Your accounting package, such as Moneybird or e-Boekhouden.nl, lets you match Etsy payouts to revenue and costs. Alongside your own Shopify shop you can see which products sell better on Etsy or in your own store.

What you do with Etsy data

Plain-language questions

  • “What do we keep per item after Etsy fees and material costs?”
  • “Which items get the best reviews, and do they also sell better?”
  • “How many buyers order a second time from our Etsy shop?”
  • “In which months of the year do we sell the most?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Etsy connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Etsy is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Etsy data can you use?

Typically orders and sold items, listings with price, quantity and variations, transaction, payment processing and advertising fees and payouts. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Etsy data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Etsy?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
