Connect Adyen. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Adyen data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Adyen.

What is Adyen?

Adyen is a Dutch payments platform for larger businesses that processes online, in-store and in-app payments through a single platform. It is used by international retailers, marketplaces and digital services.

How to use Adyen data in ENABLE

Data from Adyen is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Adobe Commerce or another shop lets you link declined payments to abandoned orders. Your ERP, such as SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365 Finance, lets you reconcile settlements with the financial records.

Plain-language questions

  • “Why are card payments most often declined, by country?”
  • “How does in-store revenue compare with online, month by month?”
  • “Which payment methods have the highest cost per transaction?”
  • “How many chargebacks do we get per thousand transactions?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Adyen connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Adyen is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Adyen data can you use?

Typically transactions and authorisations with outcome, refusal reasons for declined payments, payment methods and card schemes and refunds. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Adyen data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Adyen?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
