Connect WooCommerce. Through your own data warehouse.

You use WooCommerce data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for WooCommerce.

What is WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is an open-source plugin that turns a WordPress website into an online shop. You host it yourself or with a hosting provider, which gives you a lot of freedom in extensions and custom work.

How to use WooCommerce data in ENABLE

Data from WooCommerce is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Combined with Mollie or another payment provider you can see which orders were actually paid. Sendcloud or MyParcel links orders to shipments and the real shipping cost.

Note: Because WooCommerce runs on your own WordPress installation, plugins can add extra fields and order statuses. Agree up front which statuses count as revenue.

What you do with WooCommerce data

Plain-language questions

  • “Which coupons bring in extra revenue and which mainly give away margin?”
  • “How many orders come from returning customers and how many from guests?”
  • “Which product categories have the lowest margin after discounts?”
  • “How much shipping do we charge on average per order?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in WooCommerce connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from WooCommerce is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which WooCommerce data can you use?

Typically orders with order status, order line items with quantities and prices, products and product variations and customers and guest orders. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about WooCommerce data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect WooCommerce?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
