Connect Mollie. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Mollie data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Mollie.

What is Mollie?

Mollie is a Dutch payment service provider that lets online shops and other businesses accept payments online, such as iDEAL, cards and other local payment methods. It is widely used by European online shops and software companies.

How to use Mollie data in ENABLE

Data from Mollie is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

WooCommerce, Shopify or another shop lets you link payments to orders and spot orders that were never paid. Your accounting package lets you reconcile Mollie settlements with bank transactions.

Note: A payment can be open, paid, failed, expired or cancelled, among other statuses. An expired payment is not the same as a failed one; decide deliberately whether to include it when calculating the failure rate.

What you do with Mollie data

Plain-language questions

  • “What share of payments expire or are cancelled, per payment method?”
  • “How does the share of iDEAL, cards and pay later shift through the year?”
  • “How much do we pay in transaction fees each month, and per method?”
  • “Which customers have had more than one chargeback?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Mollie connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Mollie is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Mollie data can you use?

Typically payments with status, amount and payment method, refunds, chargebacks and settlements with fees deducted. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Mollie data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Mollie?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
