Connect Klarna. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Klarna data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Klarna.

What is Klarna?

Klarna is a Swedish payment provider known for pay later and instalment options. Online shops offer it as a payment method; Klarna pays the merchant and collects the amount from the customer.

How to use Klarna data in ENABLE

Data from Klarna is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Your shop, such as Shopify or Magento, together with a returns process in Sendcloud shows whether pay-later customers return more often. Mollie or Adyen lets you compare Klarna with your other payment methods.

Plain-language questions

  • “Is average order value higher with pay later than with iDEAL?”
  • “What share of Klarna orders are fully or partly refunded?”
  • “How many authorised orders were never captured, and why?”
  • “What does Klarna cost us each month as a percentage of the revenue it handles?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Klarna connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Klarna is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Klarna data can you use?

Typically orders with authorisation and capture, chosen payment option (pay now, pay later or instalments), refunds and partial refunds and settlements with fees. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Klarna data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Klarna?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
