Connect Google Ads. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Google Ads data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Google Ads.

What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is Google's advertising platform for ads in search results, on YouTube, in Shopping and on partner websites. Advertisers usually pay per click and steer on keywords, audiences and budgets per campaign.

How to use Google Ads data in ENABLE

Data from Google Ads is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Alongside Google Analytics 4, you see what visitors from your campaigns do on the site. With orders from Shopify or invoices from Exact Online, you can calculate the real return per campaign rather than relying on the value Google Ads reports itself.

Note: In the standard Conversions column, Google Ads attributes a conversion to the date of the click, not the date of the conversion. Figures for recent days can therefore still go up.

Plain-language questions

  • “Which campaigns had a ROAS below 3 last month, and how much did we spend on them?”
  • “Which search terms are costing us a lot without leading to a conversion?”
  • “How much impression share are we losing on our brand campaign because the budget is too low?”
  • “What does a conversion cost per campaign, and how is that changing week by week?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Google Ads connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Google Ads is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Google Ads data can you use?

Typically campaigns and ad groups, keywords and search terms, ads and impressions, clicks and cost. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Google Ads data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Google Ads?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
