Connect Plausible Analytics. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Plausible Analytics data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Plausible Analytics.

What is Plausible Analytics?

Plausible Analytics is an open-source web analytics tool that works without cookies and deliberately collects little data. It suits organisations that want straightforward visitor figures without setting cookies.

How to use Plausible Analytics data in ENABLE

Data from Plausible Analytics is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Next to Google Search Console, you see which queries bring in visits and what share of them completes a goal. Add Mailchimp or MailerLite and UTM campaigns show how much traffic newsletters generate.

Note: Plausible does not use cookies and recognises unique visitors through an identifier that changes every day. Visitors cannot be followed across days, and returning visitors are not recognised as such.

What you do with Plausible Analytics data

Plain-language questions

  • “Which sources send visitors who actually submit the contact form?”
  • “What share of traffic comes from search engines, month by month?”
  • “Which entry pages have the highest bounce rate?”
  • “How many visitors arrived through last week's newsletter campaign?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Plausible Analytics connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Plausible Analytics is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Plausible Analytics data can you use?

Typically unique visitors and visits, page views, sources, referrers and UTM campaigns and top pages, entry pages and exit pages. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Plausible Analytics data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Plausible Analytics?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
