Connect Klaviyo. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Klaviyo data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Klaviyo.

What is Klaviyo?

Klaviyo is an email and SMS marketing platform aimed at online shops that relies heavily on customer and purchase behaviour. E-commerce businesses use it for targeted campaigns and automated flows such as abandoned baskets and repeat purchases.

How to use Klaviyo data in ENABLE

Data from Klaviyo is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Next to Shopify or WooCommerce, you check attributed revenue against actual orders and calculate customer value across all channels. Add Meta Ads and you see whether customers acquired through ads come back through email.

Note: Klaviyo attributes revenue to an email or flow within an attribution window. That revenue also appears in your shop and often in GA4, so do not add it to other channels.

Plain-language questions

  • “How much revenue does Klaviyo attribute to the abandoned basket flow, and how many orders in the shop actually correspond to it?”
  • “Do customers who received the post-purchase flow buy a second time more often than those who did not?”
  • “Which segments have the highest average order value?”
  • “How is the SMS unsubscribe rate developing compared with email?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

How to connect Klaviyo

  1. 1Sketch the end resultFirst decide which questions and dashboards you want from Klaviyo data; that tells you which data is needed.
  2. 2Load into your data warehouseOutside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration. We decide which route fits during the intake.
  3. 3ModelTables and definitions that work with your other sources, so everyone sees the same numbers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Klaviyo connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Klaviyo is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Klaviyo data can you use?

Typically profiles with properties, lists and segments, email and SMS campaigns and flows such as welcome, abandoned basket and post-purchase. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Klaviyo data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Klaviyo?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
