Connect Meta Ads. Through your own data warehouse.

You use Meta Ads data in ENABLE through your own PostgreSQL data warehouse: the data is loaded and modelled there, and dashboards, plain-language questions and apps read from it. ENABLE has no built-in connector for Meta Ads.

What is Meta Ads?

Meta Ads is Meta's advertising platform for campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the Audience Network. Advertisers target audiences there based on interests, behaviour and their own customer lists, using images and video.

How to use Meta Ads data in ENABLE

Data from Meta Ads is loaded outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration, and then modelled in your data warehouse. Data Analytics sets this up. From then on Power BI dashboards, the SQL Explorer with AI and the data API read from the same model, and access profiles decide who sees what.

Next to Google Ads and Google Analytics 4, you compare channels on the same yardstick. Put conversions next to orders from Shopify or WooCommerce and you see what share of the purchases Meta reports actually exists in your shop.

Note: Meta attributes conversions according to an attribution setting, by default 7 days after a click and 1 day after a view. So do not simply add Meta conversions to those of other channels.

Plain-language questions

  • “Which creatives have the lowest cost per purchase, and how often has the same person seen them on average?”
  • “What does a lead from instant forms cost compared with a lead through the website?”
  • “How does spend on Instagram placements compare with Facebook, and what does each return?”
  • “In which ad sets is the CPM rising fastest?”

The SQL Explorer with AI turns a question like this into SQL on your data warehouse. You see the query, run it yourself, and the AI only receives metadata. More about the SQL Explorer

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does ENABLE have a built-in Meta Ads connector?

No. ENABLE reads from your own PostgreSQL data warehouse. Data from Meta Ads is loaded into it outside the portal, with a standard connector or a custom integration; we decide which route fits during the intake.

Which Meta Ads data can you use?

Typically campaigns, ad sets and ads, creatives (images and videos), reach, frequency and impressions and amount spent. Exactly which tables you use depends on the questions you want to answer: Data Analytics first sketches the end result and then connects the data it needs.

Can I ask questions about Meta Ads data in plain language?

Yes, with the SQL Explorer with AI. The AI turns your question into SQL on your data warehouse and only receives metadata for that, such as table and column names, never the rows themselves. The SQL Explorer is available to client admins by default and can be switched on for users per organisation.

What does it cost to connect Meta Ads?

The price of ENABLE depends on your plan. Each plan includes a number of data sources, from 2 on Solo to 50 on Enterprise+, and an extra data source costs €49 per month. Prices are indicative; after a demo and intake you receive a tailored proposal.
